Cycle Flanders Fields is a unique cycling experience set against the powerful backdrop of Belgium’s historic Westhoek. Starting and finishing in the stunning coastal town of Nieuwpoort, just 40 minutes from Calais, the event offers three one-lap distances – 45KM, 90KM, and the epic 180KM – making it accessible to riders of all abilities.
Each route offers its own way to discover the beauty, history, and spirit of Flanders Fields. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist chasing a challenge, or simply looking to ride through breathtaking landscapes steeped in meaning, there’s a distance for you.
All courses take you through quiet country roads, charming villages, and open fields that echo with history. Those tackling the 180KM will go even deeper – tracing the WWI front line, conquering the legendary Kemmelberg, riding stretches of the Gent-Wevelgem World Tour course, and passing more than 40 cemeteries and memorials, including Tyne Cot Cemetery, the Menenpoort, Plugstreets, and the IJzertoren.
